8 Skill Levels
Earn Ribbons, Medals & Trophies Students advance through the each skill level in the program mastering basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division facts, multi-digit computation, and working with fractions, decimals and percentages. Pre-K/Kindergarten – 7 th grade students earn medals and trophies as they progress through each level in the program.-The Final Report of the National Mathematics Advisory Panel, “Foundations for Success”, commissioned by the Department of Education.
Blue Ribbon Level
Required for Pre-K/Kindergarten students only. To earn the MATH FACT SCHOLARS Blue Ribbon, kindergarten students must pass each of the addition and subtraction timed tests in this level.-The Final Report of the National Mathematics Advisory Panel, “Foundations for Success”, commissioned by the Department of Education.
Bronze Medal Level
To earn the MATH FACT SCHOLARS Bronze Medal, students must pass each of the addition and subtraction timed tests in this level. Silver Medal Level
To earn the MATH FACT SCHOLARS Silver Medal, students must pass each of the multiplication and division timed tests in this level.-The Final Report of the National Mathematics Advisory Panel, “Foundations for Success”, commissioned by the Department of Education.
Gold Medal Level
To earn the MATH FACT SCHOLARS Gold Medal, students must pass each of the advanced multiplication and division timed tests in this level.-The Final Report of the National Mathematics Advisory Panel, “Foundations for Success”, commissioned by the Department of Education.
Platinum Level Trophy
To earn the MATH FACT SCHOLARS Platinum Level trophy, students must pass each of the timed tests in this level, covering skills with multi-digit addition, subtraction, multiplication & long division. 75% of the tests in this level require students to complete multi-digit calculations using only mental math.-The Final Report of the National Mathematics Advisory Panel, “Foundations for Success”, commissioned by the Department of Education.
Olympian Series - Fractions Level Trophy
To earn the MATH FACT SCHOLARS Olympian Series - Fractions Level Trophy, students must pass timed tests in this level, covering skills with identifying factors, common factors, GCF, multiples, LCM and adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions, mixed numbers, and more.-The Final Report of the National Mathematics Advisory Panel, “Foundations for Success”, commissioned by the Department of Education.
Olympian Series – Decimals Level Trophy
To earn the MATH FACT SCHOLARS Olympian Series - Decimals Trophy, students must pass timed tests in this level, covering skills with converting decimals to fractions, comparing decimals, rounding and adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing decimals, and more.-The Final Report of the National Mathematics Advisory Panel, “Foundations for Success”, commissioned by the Department of Education.
Olympian Series – Percents Level Trophy
To earn the MATH FACT SCHOLARS Olympian Series – Percents Trophy, students must pass timed tests in this level, covering 5th - 7th grade math skills including converting fractions and decimals to percentages, percent of a whole number, discounts, sales tax, test scores, gratuity/tip, and more.-The Final Report of the National Mathematics Advisory Panel, “Foundations for Success”, commissioned by the Department of Education.
